Carter Popoff Signs With Giants

The Vancouver Giants are pleased to announce the signing of 16 year old forward Carter Popoff. A native of Richmond, BC, Popoff currently plays for the Richmond Sockeyes of the Pacific International Junior Hockey League. The 5'9, 180 lbs forward is 4th in the PIJHL in scoring with 19 goals, 33 assists, 52 points, and 34 penalty minutes in 35 games played. The Sockeyes currently sit in first overall in the league with a record of 32-6-0-0.

Popoff was listed by the Giants in October 2011 and can now be called up to play for the organization down the stretch and in the playoffs.
