Charitable Donations

Can my organization partake in the 50/50?
We reserve almost all 50/50 opportunities for Lower Mainland Minor Hockey Associations as this is the best way for us to give back to our local minor hockey community. 50/50 nights are assigned by Association, not by individual team, and only to those Associations who pledge participation in our Fundraising program in June of each off-season. Since we cannot accommodate every 50/50 request, we do offer other fundraising opportunities for individual teams of any sport or other organizations in general. Please call 604-444-2687 for more information.

Can the Giants donate a prize for my special event or fundraiser?
We require a written donation request be submitted to Rhonda Lakusta, Office Manager . Please include a description of your organization and event, along with a return address, phone number and date of your event. We ask that you give at least one month's notice prior to your event. While we cannot accommodate every request, each one will be reviewed and responded to if we are able to make a donation. You can send your donation requests by one of the following three methods:

  1. By Mail to: 100 North Renfrew Street, Vancouver, BC, V5K 3N7
  2. By Fax to: 604.254.2687
  3. By E-mail to: rlakusta@vancouvergiants.com

Minor Hockey

Can my minor hockey team partake in the 50/50?
We reserve almost all 50/50 opportunities for Lower Mainland Minor Hockey Associations. 50/50 nights are assigned by Association, not by individual team, and only to those Associations who pledge participation in our Fundraising program in June of each off-season. It is then up to the Association to determine who receives the 50/50 profits. Since we cannot accommodate every 50/50 request, we do offer other fundraising opportunities for individual teams. Please call 604-444-2687 for more information.

Can my team skate in the intermission game?
This opportunity is reserved for those Minor Hockey Associations that participate in our Fundraising Program (including 50/50 and program sales). The "host association" for each game has the right to choose what team(s) participate in the intermission game on their host night.

Can my son/daughter be the "Seventh Man"?
The same policy applies here as for the intermission games.
