BLAZERS DUMP GIANTS 4-2

Kamloops BC - CJ Stretch had two goals and two assists tonight as the
Kamloops Blazers scored a 4-2 victory over the Vancouver Giants. Stretch
broke a 2-2 tie off the opening faceoff of the third period. Stretch was
able to win the draw forward and split the surprised d-men, before beating
Kraymer Barnstable with a deke upstairs, blocker side.

Besides the two goals by Stretch, Kamloops added markers from Tyler Shattock
and by Brendan Ranford. The Giants were able to get two goals past Kamloops
net minder Jon Groenhyde, as Casey Pierro-Zabotel and Mitch Czibere scored

tonight as he stopped 40 of 42 shots fired his way. Jamie Tucker was in
goal for the first half of the game, stopping 13 of 15 shots faced and
leaving when the game was 2-2. Kraymer Barnstable takes the loss, facing
seven shots and stopping five.
